Eduard Alexogiannopoulos from Greece first participated in the Home Composed Song Contest in 2011.

He won the competition in 2013 with "Waiting Til May" and in 2017 with "Need To Know", also finishing on the podium with his only other entry.

He organised the event the year after his first victory and was also involved in hosting in 2018.
