<poem>
Having left their sad memories in the fog
Relda and the trapper continued on their own
Leaving the mountains of mist on roads unknown to them
They now walked the plain paths like ordinary people

Resting in whatever house they passed
They soon felt their powers returning
They had a feeling that they would be useful
But they had no idea of where or when

After a few weeks on the plains, new mountains were sighted
Those were the peaks of snow, the highest in the country
Few were those who had tried travelling over them
And fewer again those who had survived the trip

Yet there was no other way for the two to go
Those mountains were calling them all the time
Starting on the uphill paths with a will to survive
They soon found themselves surrounded by deep snow

Yet further on, the snow started falling thick
Winter was approaching, and they still hadn't passed the highest point
They decided they had to start working magic to survive
And so they took turns melting a path in the snow before them

The trapper always went up front, checking the tracks
He definitely didn't wish to get lost in this weather
Carrying on this way, their powers were soon nearly exhausted
But at least they had now passed the highest point

Just as they felt their last powers giving way
They noticed that the snow was no longer as deep as before
Using their shovels instead, they dug themselves a track
And this was enough to get out on clean paths again

Working their way down to level ground again
They welcomed the rain instead of the snow
Once out of the mountains, they sought out the first cottage
And through kindly asking, they were allowed to rest there a week

When they felt fit to continue
they heard a call from somewhere far off
Heading off in that direction
They kept resting as often as possible
