Hon vandrade i natten bland bergen fram.
Hon läste sin väg uti stjärnorna,

Det barnet var sin egen

Fram på sin stig på väg mot ingenstans.
 
Det var ett särskilt ljus omkring detta barn
Som vandrade ensam i natten fram.
 
Med ens hon såg en låga i natten,
I nattens ljus där allt var fridfullt och tyst.
Hon vandrade iväg mot detta ljus
Ett ljus som gav henne trygghet.
 
Och bergen viskade så tyst,
Viskade små ord som bara hon kunde höra.
Hon gav sin värld till dessa berg till dessa berg
Där alla får vara fria.
 
Och detta barn vandrar nu i ljuset av solen fram
