Sascha Mutavdzic from Bosnia and Herzegovina won the 2002 edition of the Home Composed Song Contest with the song "History". He took third place the same year with "Suze za kraj", following that up with a second place for "Pjesma andjela" in 2003.

He hosted the contest in his own right in 2003 and was the coordinator of a team from the Eurovision Austria website and OGAE Austria that arranged the 2010 event.

Sascha has the distinction of being the only participant in HCSC history to withdraw an entry only to submit exactly the same song again one year later!

As a performer (not shown in the list below), Sascha also popped up as a featured vocalist on the Austrian entry "Tu che non ci sei piú" by MikeWail in the 2006 edition.
