Achim Wurm

Achim Wurm from Germany first participated in the Home Composed Song Contest in 1999 and was most recently represented in the 2010 edition.

Achim's HCSC career was a game of two halves: a successful first phase in conjunction with fellow songwriter and singer Scotty, including victory in the 2001 contest with the song "Genug, genug", followed by a less fruitful run of results as a solo songwriter.

Achim also organised the 2002 competition in conjunction with fellow German HCSC regular Matthias Pohl.
